This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The Brooklyn Aquarium Society board is working with Auction.Fish to bring you our first Aquarium Club Online Auction platform. That’s right, you can now buy and sell your fish and other merchandise online with the rest of our aquarium society members. The Auction.Fish website is used by several aquarium societies allowing their members to create their own personal accounts and take part in their local club auctions. Once you create your account you can also post items for auction. It’s Simple, Safe and Secure.

Step 1.
Visit the website at: https://auction.fish/

Step 2.
Select “Sign in” at the top right side of the page
and sign in with Google or create a new account.
You will be required to verify your account via email

Step 3.
Sign in to your newly created account.

Step 4.
Select the Auction option at the top of the page, then look for “The Brooklyn Aquarium Society 2021 Online Auction” Where there is a live auction taking place right now which ends March 26th. . .
Note: There are several other clubs listed with pick-up locations across the east coast so you need to select View Lots next to Brooklyn Aquarium Society in order to take part in our auction.

Step 5.
You’ll see a message at the top of the screen asking you to confirm your pick location. You need to click the blue writing which will take you to the page displaying the club’s pick-up location for won or sold auction items. Once this is done you will be able to view the rules of the auction and see all the items posted.

If you want to post an item for auction simply select Create Lot and follow the instructions provided.

I hope you enjoy this new interactive program and take part.
FYI all transactions will be made by cash through the club board members which will make for a safe trouble-free experience. Items do not need to be bagged until the items are sold and payment received from the buyer. Pick-up of items will be made in a safe neutral place noted on the auction site.
